Prizes/giveaways

Prizes and/or trophy will be awarded in the following categories:

50km – overall winners – male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

32km – overall winners – male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

16km – overall winners – male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

8km – overall winners – male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

3km – overall winners – male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd) 

With the introduction of the 50km event in 2021, we’ve changed how the team prize will be awarded. The team prize will be the 4 x best times from the start line to the timing mat on the top of the Summit Trail. This means a ‘team’ can consist of any runner in any of the 16km, 32km or 50km events. There is no maximum number of team members. Team members will need to enter their unique team name at registration.

Hendo Encouragement Award - 2021

In honour of our mate, Michael Henderson, who died of a heart attack during the Tweed Enduro Triathlon in March 2021, his wife Kate, has made a generous donation to the DDB and we will have an encouragement award for both female ($250) and male ($250), selected at random for anyone over 18yrs old in the 8km, 16km, 32km or 50km race. It will exclude any of the placegetters (1, 2 or 3) in those events. Good luck!
