A trail run in the heart of the New England High Country

Come and explore the beautiful Dumaresq Dam and Mt Duval areas near Armidale, NSW. Armidale is the highest city in Australia so join the Duval Dam Buster Trail Run starting at 1000m above sea level and experience some altitude.

The Duval Dam Buster is held a few km's outside of Armidale, in the heart of New England High Country. There are five distances: a 3km (open to children, adults and families), 8km, 16km, 32km and 50km events. Want to know more?
DDB course
Where do you run? If it's the 16km, 32km or 50km you go up, and then come back down (and around). All events start from a marshalling area at the Dumaresq Dam picnic area before going separate ways. Learn more about the course here.

Australian Ultra Runners Association + International Trail Running Association
DDB is proud to be an AURA-listed event. Established in 1986, Australian Ultra Running Association (AURA) aims to foster and promote the sport of ultra running in Australia. The 50km Hendo Hustle is also an ITRA listed event, which means participants will earn 1 x ITRA point towards their total points standing, with the 32km event currently being evaluated by ITRA as well.
